Develop East 10th Street
NEAR and our community-based partners (John Boner Neighborhood Center and Englewood CDC) are engaged in a multi-year project to revive and DEVELOP EAST 10TH STREET— particularly east of Rural Street. Lilly Endowment and the City of Indianapolis are investing about $6 million to help this happen. We are in the third year of this multi-faceted project. It involves developing affordable business structures, infrastructure, affordable housing, assisting minority businesses to establish, and creating events and a youth and arts-based culture on the corridor that welcomes all. This is bringing new volunteer and support opportunities. Explore current projects and opportunities at https://10eastarts.org
