The large, abandoned double was recently demolished due to irreparable damage.
In its place, a new period-style 3-bedroom, 2-bath single-story house is being built. Construction is now underway and is scheduled to be complete in April 2015.
The new construction will meet or exceed the standards of the St. Clair Place Pattern Book. Like all houses NEAR develops, it will include a two-vehicle garage. Both house and garage include installed security/alarm systems.
This great family house is just two blocks off the East 10th Street commercial and transit corridor, minutes from downtown Indy and the Monon biking/hiking trail.
This is one of nine (9) houses NEAR is currently building or restoring in the 800 and 900 blocks of N. Beville Avenue, which is between Jefferson and Keystone Avenues. Our investment to transform these blocks and bring more value to this street for neighbors is part our larger effort to revitalize St. Clair Place as a great Indianapolis urban neighborhood.
